Swamped with swaps...

Oh you know me....up to my ears in swaps as usual!

One is a Chocolate or Candy charm swap...surprise I made cupcakes!

The other is an second spot in the twinchie swap, this category was Bubblegum.

Tuesday Cropping

Tuesdays I get together with my fellow scrappers in a local Meet-up group I organize. Today were changing up our routine a bit...and going out to breakfast. I've never been to the restaurant before..but I hear wonderful things about their food! We'll head back to the house to do some cropping after we eat...if we can stay awake-lol!

Here are a couple more swaps I've finished... the Hello Kitty charm is for a H.K. swap...everyone is making something different. The Owl buttons are stamped images on shrink plastic (shrinky dinks) cut out with a 2in x 2in punch. They turned out pretty cute for my 1st try with them.

Monday already?

Hard to believe the weekend is already over. I didn't really go anywhere. Between other peoples plans and a headache...I just hung out at home. I did work on some of the many swaps I am in and made pretty good progress.

Time flies...

Between sick kids for 2 weeks...this entire week just disappeared!

I signed up for a one on one swap for altered journals recently. I finished mine this week and have packaged it all up to ship to my swap pal in Colorado!

Hope she loves it...and I can't wait to see the one I get!

To be Loved by you...

I had a good Valentine's Day...but I do have the BEST Valentine Guy ever!

I woke-up to find a NEW super fancy Laptop case in my office chair...WooHoo

...did I mention I just ordered myself a new laptop this past week???

Wow...he did good! I got a sweet lil bear, Tulips and a VERY thoughtful card too!

He's always thinking of me...and very generous.

For dinner we took the girls to our favorite steakhouse - Hoffbraus.

It was an hour and a half wait for a table, but well worth it in the end.

Katie went to a friends for the evening for a "girls night" and Chris helped me put together my new scraproom furniture!

DIY...candy box

My Funny Valentine...

Finally...I can posts these lil cards and treats! I've been holding off for about a week now. Today is my local scrapping groups Valentine Party and I will be giving them away to my friends...So I can finally show them off (haha)

The first one is a treat box using card stock, ribbon and acetate(a transparency). I got the pattern and directions from Splitcoaststampers and just put a bit of my own spin on it.

The second is the Valentine I made for my friends. I am a HUGE cupcake lover...so I had to go with something that I both love and am known for!

Day by Day

Wow...it's already Wednesday! Where does the time go? I've worked on tons of things this week.

Monday I did several types of cupcake stuff for a swap I'm in...Tags, ATC's and felt.

Tuesday I went to a card class with a couple friends and made some awesome Valentine cards.

Today Ivy got out of school at noon...so I couldn't get TOO into a big project, but I did manage to make some little valentine boxes for the girls to give their friends next week!

In the blink of an eye

15 YEARS ago today...our lil Katie was born!

So hard to believe she's becoming all grown up.

Monday Cuteness!

I'm still up to my eyeballs in charms swaps...I just can't say No!

The one I just finished is Alice in Wonderland. I used polymer clay to hand shape mushrooms (30) I made them from white clay, baked...added a think topping on red and some white spots, baked again...then glazed the mushroom caps only to make it shine. The other portion of this charm is a silver picture frame charm, with a image of the white rabbit holding his pocket watch, sealed for protection and durability. I can't wait to see what everyone else makes!!!
