I spent most my weekend wrapping up lil details on swaps.

• finished my P for Happy Birthday Rag Banner
• packed up Katie and I's twilight charms for that swap
• finished my lollipop flowers (six spots) that's 144 flowers
• finished my recipe swap layouts for Carmel Apple Salad - YUM!

It was a productive weekend!!!

Queen of Hearts

I finished my Disney art dolls today! Can't wait to see all the little dolls I get in return. This was a time consuming project since each and every piece was hand formed - one at a time! I expect the rewards will be well worth it, as the group of ladies I am swapping with these are all 1st class gals!

Manic Monday

Well, another weekend has come and gone. I have some fun projects I'm wrapping up this week. Disney art dolls are at the top of my list. I'm doing the Queen of hearts...8 of them. I'm more than half done and will post the finish product later today. Here is what they looked like last night....

Wrapping up my last doll, a Fairy dotee spot I am angeling for our swap. I finished all the lil details and thought I'd post some pictures before I mail them on in a few days!

Cool Mini Album

I can't take credit for this AWESOME idea. I got the idea/inspiration from Jhopkins. I've been working on my own for a short while. I recently joined an online group of scrappers on 2peas who are all working on loosing weight. I thought it would be fun to use this project for that album. I love how it turned out so far. I still need a charm for the outside and to decorate the front...but so far so good!

Non-Stop

That is how I'd describe our summer thus far. Seems there is never a dull moment and I have been a bad blogger.

I recently finished my pages for the cupcake 6x6 layout swap group. I made a new type cupcake embellishment for them using polymer clay. They turned out good and were pretty easy to make.

Anyone who knows me WELL, knows I am NOT a jewelry fan!

Men hate it...lol...no easy gifts! I have my ears pierced twice, yet both remain empty except for family pictures or holidays (LOL) I seldom wear even my wedding rings, my hubby even bought me an anniversary band a few years ago...as a lure to get me to wear it more. I do put it on to leave the house, but it comes off before my shoes even when I return home!


Last year, a friend gave me this sweet charm and necklace, to fill with a picture of my daughter and the other side she made an insert saying "guard mom" (for Colorguard). I'd thought about it, but just never found the right photo. Today I finally got around to putting in a picture and I LOVE IT!!! I will wear it ALWAYS....(ok to every football game this season is more realistic) but that's an improvement!

There may be hope for me after all!

Super Saturday!

Wow, today will be a busy day for us. We're heading out to a party with friends, to watch one of our favorite bands "The Will Callers"!!! It should be tons of fun, but I fear it will be oh so HOT also!

...And now my latest charm swap project..HAHA!.... It's a July 4th charm swap, and below is a couple photos of my charm. 52 for this swap...I've made that many before...but it's been awhile and it seemed like SO MANY!!!

Can't get enought!

I was recently approached about making a custom order of my cupcake charms. The gal is hosting a party and wanted to use them are wine glass charms. She picked her colors, and I like the combinations.

Since I was already making them, I made 2 extra sets, and I'm gonna throw them up on My Etsy. I thought it was a great idea for the lil cupcakey goodness!

Done.

I finished my charm swap last night...I made a small change to the iPods and finished the IMspeak...they are my personal favorite!

I'm also posting the pendant I made earlier this week for the Pendant swap I'm in...only had to make 15 of those, they turned out ok I think and I made a few extra for me and the girls!

I've been working to finish some charms for a senior/high school girl swap...the first 3 came out ok. ...but as I worked to complete the last 3 spots (school, teen girl and IMspeak) I've really struggled to come up with ideas, and especially idea I can actually make.

I tried pencils for "school theme" AND I tried iPods for the "Teen girl theme"

I don't like the end result for either...so looks like I'm searching for more ideas- UGH!

This weekend I've been working on some swap charms...

The theme is "High School Girl"....the groups are small, so I signed up for 6.

Tuesday Cropping

Tuesdays I get together with my fellow scrappers in a local Meet-up group I organize. Today were changing up our routine a bit...and going out to breakfast. I've never been to the restaurant before..but I hear wonderful things about their food! We'll head back to the house to do some cropping after we eat...if we can stay awake-lol!

Here are a couple more swaps I've finished... the Hello Kitty charm is for a H.K. swap...everyone is making something different. The Owl buttons are stamped images on shrink plastic (shrinky dinks) cut out with a 2in x 2in punch. They turned out pretty cute for my 1st try with them.
